CWC will be a fully customs bonded facility so all cargo stored at CWC, has to be under customs bond and for cargoes imported for local consumption, customs formalities will have to be concluded by the receivers prior to the removal of the cargo from the facility. CWC will have a customs office on-site who control the movement of goods into and out of our warehouse complex.
The Bonded Warehouses allows storage for a limited period of time while customs formalities are completed or while the duty and tax (VAT) payments are finalized. In addition, storage in a bonded facility, allows the goods to be re-packed (eg: bagging bulk cargo for distribution, re-packing bagged cargo into pallets or mini-bulk bags, etc).
Transit cargo stored in Bond at CWC Warehouse does not pay taxes at the country of final destination, before being shipped, representing various economic benefits for the client.
